About Kidlington Running Club

We are a friendly group of mixed abilities, mixed ages and mixed sex, wanting to run with others in a more social, motivating environment.

The Club’s primary activities are road running throughout the year, and cross-country running in winter. We have Club Championships for both. Club training nights are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights starting at 6:30pm.

You’ll regularly find us running around the streets of Kidlington, and regularly we even go out as a group for some longer runs at the weekend.

The Club has organised the Mota-vation Summer Road Race Series since the late 1980s, a series of five road races, each approximately four miles, held monthly at various venues in Oxfordshire on Thursday nights. The Club is competing in the Oxfordshire AA Grand Prix Race Series and the first Mota-vation Race often forms part of that series too.

We participate as a club in cross country races in winter, in particular in the Oxford Mail league.
