Timing by Tempo
Timing is provided by Tempo Events and full race results appear on the Tempo Events website (usually the same evening).
On rare occasions runners are not picked up by the chip timing system as they cross the line, so if you notice any issues with the results please contact Tempo Events directly (sarah@tempoevents.co.uk).
Series Standings: Teams and Individuals
We will add the final standings once we have double checked them.
We continued with the additional “Small Teams” competition that was introduced in 2025. Large Teams for 2026 were:
- Male: Abingdon AC, Alchester Running Club, Headington Road Runners & Witney Road Runners
- Female: Headington Road Runners, Witney Road Runners & Woodstock Harriers
All other teams were “Small Teams”. For more information on scoring, etc please see the Race Rules.
If you have any queries about the standings, please contact: motavation@kidlingtonrunning.org.uk.
Stratfield Brake – August 27th 2026
Luckily the rain stopped to give a dry evening for the final race of the series. Well done to race winners Alexander Bampton and Melissa Hawtin.
Congratulations to our series winners: Matthew Lock (Witney Road Runners) and Melissa Hawtin (Oxford City)! Oxford City won both the male and female “Small Teams” competition. The winners of the “Large Teams” competition were Abingdon (male) and Headington Road Runners (female).

Another race with warm, dry conditions. It was a third race win in a row for both our current male and female series leaders: Matthew Lock (Witney Road Runners) and Melissa Hawtin (Oxford City). Just one more race remaining in the 2026 Series!

Combe I – July 2nd 2026
Many thanks for bearing with us whilst we rescheduled the race from its original date due to the “red alert” heat warning. Once again Matthew Lock (Witney Road Runners) crossed the line first and first female was Melissa Hawtin (Oxford City).
Oxford – May 28th 2026
A very hot evening for race 2 – well done to all who ran or volunteered. Matthew Lock (Witney Road Runners) crossed the line first and Melissa Hawtin (Oxford City) was first female.
Charlton on Otmoor – April 30th 2026
Thank you to all runners and volunteers who joined us for a sunny first race of the series. Congratulations to first male, Duncan Lawrence (Oxford City) and first female, Isabel Stubbs (Witney Road Runners).
We apologise for the glitch with the race results processing that meant we were unable to do the prize presentations at the race. We will store the prizes and present them at the next race.
