Race 1 – Charlton: 24th April 2024
It was great to see a record turnout for Race 1! Congratulations to our male and female winners: Marcus Shantry (Headington Road Runners), who set a new course record, and Anna Jolliffe (Bicester AC). We were asked to improve the weather and I hope you’ll agree it was better than last year!
Well done to everyone who ran. Many thanks to all the volunteers including the marshals provided by other clubs. We look forward to seeing you all at the next race in Oxford on Thursday 30th May.

Race 2 – Oxford: 30 May 2024

Race 4 – Combe: 25 July 2024

Race 5 – Stratfield Brake (Kidlington): 29 August 2024
Mota-vation 2024 finished on a beautiful sunny evening at Stratfield Brake. 369 runners completed the flat course, and afterwards retired to the club house for a refreshing drink and to hear the results.
Anna Jolliffe of Bicester AC was first lady on the night in a time of 23:59, and Marcus Shantry of Headington Road Runners beat the course record to win the men’s race on the night with 20:07.
Marcus was also the overall 2024 men’s series winner, joined by Stephanie Giles of Alchester Running Club as the ladies’ series winner.
Huge congratulations to all winners across the entire series, and to everyone else that competed at all levels.

Timing is provided by Tempo Events and individual results and full race results will appear on the Tempo Events website usually the same evening.
On rare occassions runners are not picked up by the chip timing system as they cross the line, so if you notice any issues with the results please contact Tempo Events directly (sarah@tempoevents.co.uk).
